We have had this product for 4 months now and love the ice it makes. For the most part it’s very quiet, ice is produced fast and adding the inline water option makes this a great product. Every 2-3 weeks it starts to make a little noise which goes away when running the cleaning cycle. To make the cleaning cycle easier I bought a 1/4” OD quick connect with a shut off valve takes the 2 drain hoses and runs them through the valve into a single drain hose that I can unroll to a bucket. My only complaint is the pump that feeds the water stopped working and I found one on Amazon and replaced it. The ice maker directions say to clean every 2 weeks. I don’t think that’s necessary, when it starts to make a noise in the 2-3 week mark I simply put it in clean mode and run the cycle 2 times.
